The Fugger Kunsthof is a new contemporary art initiative based in a historic castle near Augsburg, Germany. The Kunsthof offers a free residency to visiting artists, with the goal of providing artists with the opportunity to work, think or just be outside of their usual environments. The Fugger Kunsthof Residency (FKR) supports emerging artists with standard amenities, including on site accommodations and studio space, but is also excited to support artists more broadly, including exhibitions, special projects, partnerships, open studios and other initiatives.

In between international residencies, the studio space will be made available to local artists, reinforcing our commitment to community engagement and artistic exchange.
